Paris Hilton's Biography

Paris Hilton was born on 17th February 1981 in New York City. She is best known for her party lifestyle and the TV series 'The Simple Life'.

She is the great-granddaughter of the hotelier Conrad Hilon worth an estimated $300 milion. Her grandfather, Conrad "Nicky" Hilton, is also well known as he was one of Elizabeth Taylor's many ex-husbands. As her partying has become wilder and her fortunes increased society has become intrigued by her and is eager to here the latest gossip regarding her life.

For her 21st birthday, she threw five parties for herself in New York, Las Vegas, London, Hollywood and Tokyo.

Paris Hilton began to make a name for herself as a model, appearing alongside designers such as Marc Bouwer and Catherine Malandrino. She also appeared in magazines such as GQ, Vanity Fair and FHM and has also been profiled, along with her sister, in People magazine.

In 2001 Paris Hilton starred in Ben Stillers comedy Zoolander by playing a cameo role. Later in 2003 she starred in the Cat in The Hat, playing the part of a roudy clubber, stretching her acting talents. She went on to star in James Cox crime thriller Wonderland, also filmed that year. However the success that this brought was overshadowed when her exboyfriend sold a homemade sex video which later appeared on the internet. The entire feature only lasting just under 3 minutes but still popular on search engines to this day!

Undeterred by the paparazzi in 2004 Paris Hilton went on to star in her biggest role so far in Nine Lives.

Paris Hilton also starred alongside fellow heiress Nicole Richie in the hit series The Simple Life where the pair try to navigate the pitfalls of simple living.
